Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A QSAR prediction on Acid Brown 365 was performed and the substance is estimated as non ready biodegradable.

No experimental, nor literature data are available about the biodegradation potential of Acid Brown 365 (ABr365), thus the available data on the structural analogue( Similar Substance 02) were cosidered.

The ready biodegradation potential was investigated in a study conducted according to the OECD Guideline 301 A, Modified AFNOR Test. Under test conditions, no biodegradation was observed (0 % after 28 days, based on the DOC-removal), thus the substance resulted as not readily biodegradable (Huntsman Textile Effects GmbH, 1986).
