First Aid Emergency Procedures

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Drink water to clear throat, and blow nose to remove fibers and dusts.

Skin: Wash gently with soap and warm water to remove dust and fibers. Wash hands before eating or using the restroom.

Ingestion: Product is not intended to be ingested or eaten, if this product is ingested, should be treated symptomatically. Rinse mouth with water to remove fibers, and drink plenty of water to help reduce the irritation. No chronic effects are expected following ingestion.

Eye: Do not rub or scratch your eyes. Dust particals may cause the eye to be scratched. Flush eyes with large amounts of water for 5-15 minutes. If irritation persists, contact a physician.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Where excessive inhalation and handling occur, requirements for personal protective equipment shall be used as indicated below:

Inhalation: Where the concentration of air-borne fibers excess 5mg/m3, local ventilation and respirators are recommended.

Skin:    Should skin irritation exist, protective clothing should be worn to prevent contact.

Eyes:    Eye protection should be worn when there is a likelihood of airborne fibers.
