Conclusions:
The auto-flammability temperature of FAT 40826/A is 295 °C.
Executive summary:

In a GLP-compliant study, the determination of the relative self-ignition temperature of the test item was performed according to the EU method A. 16. Applying a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5 °C/min, FAT 40826/A showed an exothermic reaction starting at about 290 °C. A maximum temperature of 573 °C was measured in the sample cube during the exothermic reaction. At the end of the measurement, the test item was carbonized. FAT 40826/A shows a relative self-ignition temperature at about 295 °C. In conclusion, FAT 40826/A is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.

Description of key information

The test substance is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
