Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use

First-aid measures
If you feel unwell, seek medical attention and show the label when possible. Get medical attention immediately. Wash out mouth with water.
If material has been swallowed and the exposed person is conscious, give small quantities of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting.
Chemical burns must be treated promptly by a physician. Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water. Wash contaminated clothing thoroughly
with water before removing it, or wear gloves. Continue to rinse for at least 10 minutes. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Continue to rinse for at least 10 minutes.
Fire-fighting measures
In case of fire, use water spray (fog), foam, dry chemical or CO2. Do not use water jet.
In a fire or if heated, a pressure increase will occur and the container may burst.
Accidental release measures
Put on appropriate personal protective equipment.
Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soil, waterways, drains and sewers.
Absorb with an inert material.
Handling and storage
Handle with care and dispose in a safe manner. Keep container tightly closed. Do not store above the following temperature: 30°C (86°F).

Exposure controls / personal protection
Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard should be worn at all times when handling chemical products if a risk
assessment indicates this is necessary. Protective goggles. Wear suitable protective clothing.
Stability and reactivity
The product is stable.
Disposal considerations
Contact your local Environmental Agency Office if in doubt. Incinerate waste materials.
