Description of key information
For a UVCB substance, a single BCF value is without scientific meaning. However the values for the constituents present are relevant.The constituents of DTO are all naturally occurring secondary metabolites of pine trees and many other types of plant. Metabolism and other biological behaviour of these constituents have been extensively reported in published literature. The values of BCF calculated from the log Kow therefore represent worst-case upper limits. The significance of this uncertainty will be evaluated in Section 10 of the CSR.
