Description of key information

Long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: NOEC = 3.1 mg/L  for the daphnia magna, Daphnia magna Reproduction Test, semi-static  (OECD TG 211); study Thompson (1997)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
3.1 mg/L

Additional information

The value for the key parameter is based on a well conducted GLP and OECD 211 compliant study (key study: Thompson 1997) using Daphnia magna in a semi static 21 d reproduction test.. Both endpoints growth and reproduction yielded the same values for NOEC (3.1 mg/L) and LOEC (5.7 mg/L).
