Additional information

There are acute toxicity data for propylene glycol methyl ether acetate on the three trophic levels (fish, aquatic invertebrate and algae). These data show that the most sensitive species seems to be the fish (14-day LC50 = 63.5 mg/l). Chronic data are only available for aquatic invertebrates and algae. The lowest effect concentration is the 96 hour LC50 of 130 mg/l from the acute toxicity studies in fish.

No significant toxicity on microorganisms was observed up to a concentration of 1000 mg/l.
