Skin contact: Rinse with water.

Ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink plenty of water

Fire-fighting measures

Not combustible. Not relevant

Exposure controls / personal protection

Due to the analogy of structures between synthetic amorphous silica and synthetic amorphous calcium silicate the OEL of 4 mg/m3 is proposed for synthetic amorphous calcium silicate.

Note: Current Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) for synthetic amorphous calcium silicate (inhalable / total dust): Type of limit AGW (DE) 10 mg/m3     (inhalable), 3 mg/m3 (respirable) of generic dust (TRGS 900).

Stability and reactivity

Disposal considerations

Unused silicates and SAS are not classified as hazardous wastes.
