Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The short-term toxicity of the substance triethyl citrate was calculated by the ECOSAR program (v1.00) made available by U.S. EPA. The program uses an extensive set of structure-activity relationships (SARs) to estimate the toxicity of chemicals discharged to water. For fish a LC50 (96 h) of 112.02 mg/L was predicted (based on an experimentally determined water solubility of 58.1 g/L and a LogPOW of 1.17) using the SAR for esters.
