Additional information

Two independent O.E.C.D. test guideline 203, GLP studies were conducted with the rainbow trout with concentration verification. Based on measured concentrations the LC50 value from these two studies ranged from 2.8 - < 10 mg/L A third supporting O.E.C.D. test guideline 203 study was performed with the Zebra-Fish. Based upon estimated concentations of the test substance, the LC50 valued ranged from 5.5 - 8.0 mg/L (95% Confidence Limits). Therefore, the test substance, 2,3 -epoxypropylo-tolyl ether, is toxic to fish under the conditions of the studies.
