Description of key information

After evaporation or exposure to the air, the product will be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to a calculation performed using SRC AOP v1.92 allyl methacrylate will be rapidly photodegraded in the atmosphere. The calculated half life is 3.39 hours at a rate constant of 0.00000000004592 cm³/molecule-sec. For the calculation a sensitiser concentration of 500000 OH radicals and a 24 hour day were assumed.
