First-aid measures

General advice:  Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician immediately.

Inhalation:  Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Call a physician immediately.

Skin contact:  Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Cool

skin rapidly with cold water after contact with molten material. Do not attempt to remove material from the skin. Obtain medical

attention.

Eye contact:   If in eyes, rinse coutiously with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

Ingestion:  Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water. Induce vomiting, but only if victim is fully conscious. Never give anything by mouth to an

unconscious person. Call a physician immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:  Dry powder, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Water spray, Foam.

Specific hazards during fire fighting:  Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Dust may formexplosive mixture in air. Hazardous decomposition products Carbon monoxide nitrogen oxides (NOx)

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters:  Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.

Further information:  Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Cool containers / tanks with water spray. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishingwater must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged

into drains.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:  Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions:  Avoid subsoil penetration. Should not be released into the environment. Do not let product enter drains. If the product

contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.

Methods for cleaning up:  Dam up. Allow to solidify, use mechanical handling equipment. Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Transferto steel drums with a lid. Flush away traces with water and detergent.

Additional advice:  Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:  Avoid dust formation in confined areas. Use only in area provided with appropriate exhaust ventilation. Avoid contact

with skin and eyes. Wear personal protective equipment.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion:  Normal measures for preventive fire protection. Dust may form explosive mixture in air.

Requirements for storage areas and containers:  Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat. No

smoking. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Advice on common storage:  Keep away from: Oxidizing agents

Other data:  No decomposition if stored normally.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.

Respiratory protection:  When workers are facing concentrations above the exposure limit they must use appropriate certified respirators.

Hand protection:  Impervious butyl rubber gloves, Neoprene gloves

Eye protection:  Tightly fitting safety goggles Face-shield

Skin and body protection:  Complete suit protecting against chemicals Solvent-resistant apron Boots

Hygiene measures:  Regular cleaning of equipment, work area and clothing. When using do not eat or drink. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to avoid:  To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat.

Materials to avoid:  Oxidizing agents

Hazardous decomposition products:  nitrogen oxides (NOx), Carbon monoxide

Hazardous reactions:  Polymerization will not occur. Stable at normal temperatures and storage conditions.

Disposal considerations

Product:  Do not dispose of waste into sewer. Dispose of as special waste in compliance with local and national regulations. Can be incinerated,

when in compliance with local regulations.

Contaminated packaging:  If recycling is not practicable, dispose of in compliance with local regulations.
