Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with large amounts of water. Seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
and carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products arising from pyrolysis: Combustion products may
contain carbon, nitrogen and sulfur oxides together with
some soot.
Protective equipment: Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
should be absorbed using suitable material before
collecting. Dispose of waste at an approved incinerator.
[UK c.a.: Wear protective equipment (cf 2.3.1) and do not
allow washings to enter watercourses].
Handling and storage
dust formation. Do not breathe dust if formed and avoid
contact with skin. Wear a dust mask if necessary.
Storage: The substance must be stored in sealed unbreakable
containers.

Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: Chemical reaction with water: None reported.
Disposal considerations
substrate is not possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None [UK c.a.: In view of hazardous properties the French
c.a. have been asked to address the lack of information].
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method. An approved facility equipped with
waste gas treatment to remove nitrogen and sulfur oxides
should be used.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Approximately 2% of substance will be discharged in
industrial waste water. A pre-treatment facility is used at
all sites using the substance. The dyestuff will not likely
be absorbed on sewage sludge in waste water treatment
plants. Testing will be conducted to confirm this
hypothesis using OECD 302 B.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
