Phototransformation in air: Key study: The estimated rate constant for the vapor-phase reaction of Calcium Acetate with photochemically-produced hydroxyl radicals has been estimated as 0.0843 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec at 25 ºC. This corresponds to an atmospheric half-life of about 126.85 days (12-hours day) at an atmospheric concentration of 1.5E(+6) hydroxyl radicals per cm3. (Calculation by EPI Suite v3.20, EPA (USA)/ AopWin v1.92).
