Description of key information

Flammability: Key study: Calcium acetate is a non flammable substance (EEC-Guideline A.10 and GLP).
Pyrophoric properties: Based on experience on handling and use, the substance is stable and does not spontaneously ignite when exposed to air.

There was no inflammation or smouldering observed within the testing period. So it is concluded that Calcium acetate is a non flammable substance.
