Description of key information
The flash-point of bis(3,5,5-trimethylhexanoyl) peroxide was determined to be 61 °C.

The flash-point of bis(3,5,5-trimethylhexanoyl) peroxide (CAS 3851-87-4) was determined using method DIN EN ISO 3679: 2004-07 (equilibrium method closed cup). The flash-point of the test substance was measured two times and the mean value was calculated. Both measurements resulted in a flash-point of 61 °C.
