To assess the aquatic hazard potential of the multi-constituent substance Tinuvin 292, acute tests for fish and aquatic algae were available. The most sensitive test organism was Danio rerio with a LC50 (96h) of 0.9 mg/L. For aquatic algae (Desmodesmus subspicatus) an EC50 (72) of 1.68 mg/L was detected (corresponding NOEC (96 h) = 0.22 mg/L). For aquatic invertebrates a long-term test was performed. A reproduction-NOEC of 1.0 mg/L was obtained for Daphnia magna after 21 days of exposure.
