The lethal concentration (LC50) value of sodium 2-amino-5-nitrobenzenesulphonate in Fish in a 96 hr study on mortality effect was found to be 24556.650 mg/L (ppm).
Executive summary:

The lethal concentration (LC50) value of sodium 2-amino-5-nitrobenzenesulphonate in Fish in a 96 hr study on mortality effect was found to be 24556.650 mg/L (ppm). Thus,considering the CLP Criteria for aquatic classification of the substance,it is concluded that sodium 2-amino-5-nitrobenzenesulphonate does not exhibit short term toxicity to fish. Therefore the chemical sodium 2 -amino-5 -nitrobenzenesulphonate is non toxic to aquatic organisms.
