First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: In the case of complaints after inhalation: rest, fresh air, medical advice.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Keeping the eyelids wide open, rinse out thoroughly under running water for 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off thoroughly with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out the affected person's mouth and get him or her to drink large quantities of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Directed water spray, dry extinguishing agent, foam

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water, nitrogen oxides,  sulphur oxides

Protective equipment: Self-contained respirator

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep together spilled substance and place into tightly closing waste containers. Plastic frame goggles according to DIN-EN 166 with lateral protection and lenses made of plastic as well as chemical-resistant, neoprene gloves  according to DIN-EN 374 must be worn when performing cleaning work. Dispose of in accordance with the local  official regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance is a wax-like solid. A dust-explosion is therefore not assumed. When handling the substance, chemical-resistant, neoprene gloves according to DIN-EN 374 as well as plastic frame goggles according to DIN-EN 166 with lateral protection and lenses made of plastic should be worn.

Storage: The substance should be stored in tightly closing, unbreakable containers that are labelled according to the regulations, in cool and dry conditions. Product residues on the containers should be avoided.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Transport: Not a hazardous good according to the meaning of the transport regulations. In-company transportation should take place in tightly closing, unbreakable containers which are labelled according to the regulations and secured against slipping and falling down.
