Additional information

As the substance is also naturally occurring and its uptake and metabolism is highly regulated in organisms no negative effects on terrestrial organisms is to be expected. he substance is considered as inherently biodegradable and is very fast photochemically degraded based on a calculated half life of 1.7 h (AOPWIN 1.92, 06.02.2007). Therefore, no indirect or direct exposure of soil and sediment is to be expected and no tests on terrestrial organisms are required. Furthermore, parts of the mixed-Tocopherols are commonly used as Vitamin E supplement and antioxidant in both food and feed applications.
