Additional information

One study is available for the short-term toxicity of TAEE to fish, which is a semi-static GLP-compliant OECD 203 study with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) (Harlan Laboratories, 2009f). The concentrations were analytically verified for two concentrations, the 96-h LC50 is 240 mg/l based on nominal concentrations.

Additionally, a semi-static GLP-compliant OECD 203 study is available with rainbow trout for the structurally related aliphatic ether TAME (Corning Hazleton, 1995a). The concentrations were analytically verified, the 96-h LC50 is >100 mg/l based on nominal concentrations. The 96-h LC50 of 240 mg/l in Oncorhynchus mykiss is used in the assessment.
