Additional information

The QSAR calculated rate constant for the OH sensitized photodegradation of 4-vinylcyclohexene is approximately 8.93E-11 cm³/(molecule * s). At 500,000 OH radicals / cm³ (approximate 24-hour mean in central) this corresponds to a half-life of 4.3 hours. The ozone sensitized photodegradation of 4-vinylcyclohexene is even faster, lowering the overall half-life in air to approx. 2 hours. Hydrolysis is not expected under environmental conditions.
