The melting point is higher than 400°C. Condensed water was observed in the capillaries in the range of 120 - 125°C. This indicates loss of crystal water from the substance. Due to the high melting point, determination of the boiling point does not need to be conducted according to REACH. The relative density was D = 1.8028 (+/- 0.0110).

There are no experimental data on particle size distribution available. There is no testing required because the substance is marketed in a non solid and a non granular form.

Due to the high melting point, a study on vapour pressure does not need to be conducted according to REACH. Also the octanol-water partition coefficient is not a relevant property for an inorganic solid.

The water solubility of the substance was gravimetrically determined to be 0.62 g/L at a pH of 10.89 to 10.98.

Based on structure, surface activity is not expected.

The flash point is not a relevant property for an inorganic solid. Because all elements of the compound exist in the highest oxidation state, flammability as well as self ignition (auto flammability) is not possible. There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule.

The substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials. Based on the chemical structure it does not belong to chemical groups associated with oxidising properties. Therefore, no testing on oxidising properties is needed.

No testing on stability in organic solvents is required because the substance is inorganic.

A study on viscosity is technically not feasible and scientifically unjustified, because the substance is a solid with a melting point above 400°C.
