Additional information

One study is available investigating the short-term effects of Bis(2,8,9-Trioxa-5-aza-1-silabicyclo(3.3.3)undecane-1-propane-)disulfide (CAS 883794-93-2) to freshwater fish. The study was performed according to OECD 203 (GLP) with Brachydanio rerio as test organism. Nominal test concentrations up to 55 mg/L were tested. 100% mortality was observed at the highest concentration. Thus, an LC50 (96 h) of 48.5 mg/L was calculated. Since the test substance is susceptible to hydrolysis in water, the result mainly reflects the effects of the hydrolysis products rather than the parent substance.
