Administrative data

Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

Materials and methods

Principles of method if other than guideline:
An analysis of the chemical structure of the substance shows that it will not possess oxidising
properties and will not give rise to highly exothermic reactions when in contact with other
substances, particularly flammable ones, in the manner in which recognised oxidising substances
do.

Test material

Constituent 1
Test material form:
solid: particulate/powder

Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

On the basis of this theoretical assessment, the substance
is not an oxidiser.
An experimental determination of the oxidising properties of
the substance is therefore considered unnecessary and has
not been carried out.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: no oxidising properties
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
not oxidising
