Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Additional information
An overview of the key values endpoint is presented in the table below.
CAS number | Result | Reference | |
Danio rerio OECD 203 KEY Study (Rel. 1)
| 34140-91-5 | 96h-LC50 = 1.34 mg/L, natural river water | AkzoNobel, 2012 |
Daphnia magna OECD 211* KEY Study | 34140-91-5 | 48h-EC50 (*= 21d-EC50 from chronic test as worst case approach) = 1.40 mg/L, natural river water | Noack, 2012 |
Pseudokircherniella subcapitata OECD 201 KEY Study
| 34140-91-5 | 72h-ErC50 = 0.41 mg/L, natural river water 72h-ErC10 = 0.323 mg/L, natural river water | Scheerbaum, 2012 |
Daphnia OECD 211 KEY Study
| 34140-91-5 | No long term effects were observed on daphnia magna during the chronic daphnia test. For adult mortality however the following effects were observed. 21d-EC10 = 1.35 mg/L, adult mortality, natural river water 21d-EC50 = 1.4 mg/L, adult mortality, natural river water | Noack, 2012 |
Microorganisms OECD 209 KEY Study
| 34140-91-5 | 3h-NOEC = 993.2 mg/L | Fiebig, 2012 |
According to REACH Annex IX, long-term toxicity testing for daphnia and fish (according to TG OECD 211 and 210) has been proposed under two Testing Proposal in order to perfrom these studies with standard OECD medium.
