Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

One acute experimental study and four QSAR predictions are available to assess the aquatic toxicity of the registered substance.

The experimental study (Harlan, 2013), performed on the registered substance on aquatic invertebrates Daphnia magna, was not considered reliable due to major methodological deficiencies. Therefore, QSAR prediction for this endpoint, and all other endpoints required, were performed using iSafeRat® High-Accuracy-Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (KREATIS, 2020). Toxic effects below the solubility limit were predicted on algae and fish in acute conditions. For algae, the 72h-ErC50 value was predicted at 1.2 mg/L. For fish, the 96h-LC50 value was predicted at 2.6 mg/L. Finally, the toxicity values for daphnia in acute conditions (48h-EC50) and activated sludge (30-180min EC50) were predicted as greater than the limit of solubility within the exposure period of the tests.
