Adsorption/Desorption:

The adsorption test (Bodsch_2009) performed according to OECD 121 and GLP was rated with RL=1 (reliable without restrictions) and used as key study. The estimated log Koc of SymHelios® 1031 is 3.65 (55% E-isomer; 45% Z-isomere). According to the McCall classification scheme of soil mobility potential SymHelios® 1031 is classified from slight mobile (isomere 1 Koc = 3776) to immobile (isomere 2 Koc = 5342).

Volatilisation:

Based on the vapour pressure of the substance (1.5·10-6Pa (20°C)), SymHelios® 1031 can safely be considered as non-volatile. In addition, a calculation of Henry`s law constant at 2.37 10-4Pa m³/mol on the basis of the experimental determination of water solubility and vapour pressure, indicates that the substance does not volatilize from water or wet surfaces.

Distribution modelling:

The distribution of the substance SymHelios® 1031 between the environmental compartments air, soil and water is as follows: soil 87.2 %, sediment 4.37 %, water 8.47%, and air 0.005 %.
