Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
Under the test condition chosen and considering the described findings of the test item does not give indication of an irritant property to the eye.
Executive summary:

The irritant properties to eye of the substance was determined according to the guideline OECD 405 (acute eye irritation/corrosion).

The potential of the test item to cause damage to the conjunctiva, iris or cornea was assessed in 3 white New Zealand rabbits, subjected to a single occular application of about 78 mg of the test item on day 0. The average score was calculated to be 0.0 for cornea opacity, for the iris and chemosis and 0.8 for the concunjtiva redness.

The findings were reversible in all animals within 72 hours after application, thus the study was terminated.

Under the test condition chosen and considering the described findings of the test item does not give indication of an irritant property to the eye.
