Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Shikimic acid is not highly flammable.
Executive summary:

The test was conducted according to EC A.10 “Determination of the Flammability (Solids)”. In a preliminary essay, it was observed, whether the combustion propagated over a distance of 200mm within 4 minutes. If the time was longer than 4 minutes (240 s), no further testing was re-quired according to guideline. The time was longer than 4 minutes. Based on this result shikimic acid is classified as not highly flammable.
