Based on the results from the aquatic toxicity (EC50 values in daphnia between 1 -10 mg/l and ECr50 and ECr10/NOEC value in algae between 0.1 -1 mg/L) and taking into account that the substance is not readily biodegradable, the substance is classified as Aquatic Acute Category 1 (M=1), H400 and Aquatic Chronic Category 2, H411 according to CLP Regulation (EC) no. 1272/2008.
