skin contact: wash skin with mild soap and water.

No specific first aid measures are required.

Fire-fighting measures

suitable extinguishing media: powder, AFFF, carbon dioxide, water fog, water.

unsuitable extinguishing media: none

specific hazards: flammable. Potential dust explosion hazard. A weak energy source may cause ignition.

advice for fire-fighters:

special protective equipment for fire fighters: wear a compressed air respirator. Wear proper protective equipment. Wear fire, flame resistant, retardant clothing.

special procedures: use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Avoid dust production.

Accidental release measures

personal precaution: avoid dust production. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and other sources of ignition sources.

environmental precaution: avoid release to the environment.

clean up methods: sweep or shovel spills. Avoid dust production. Contain in properly labeled containers. Use suitable and closed disposal containers.

Take notice of the measures as mentioned under Handling and Storage and under Exposure controls/personal protection.

Handling and storage

handling: keep away from heat and ignition sources. Use electrically conductive materials for piping circuits and equipment.

packaging materials: PVC, polyethylene.

storage: protect from direct sunlight and heat. Keep in original containers. Keep container closed when not in use. Store in a dry place.

use: contact supplier if guidance is required.

further information: in order to rule out potential electrostatic discharge production, the system must be adequately grounded. Use special care to avoid static electric charges. Avoid dust production. Exposure to extreme heat can give rise to thermal decomposition. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames or hot surfaces. -No smoking. Use explosion-proof electrical, ventilating, lighting, ...., equipment.
