Description of key information

As melting point for SDIPB dried was observed to be >300 °C due to decomposition of the test material, there is no need for boiling point determination. The boiling point of commercial SDIBP was 102.7 °C. The boiling point was determined using EU method A.2.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
102.7 °C

Additional information

The boiling point of commercial SDIPB was 102.7 °C. Data from Huntsman, 2012 study.

As melting point for SDIPB dried was observed to be >300 °C, the boiling point study is exempted in accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII.
