Additional information

No determination of the adsorption coefficient was possible by the HPLC estimation method, Method C19 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 121 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 22 January 2001. This was since the method was invalid for the test item, specifically due to it being surface active, the primary components of interest being sodium salts and additionally, even on anticipated dissociation on accidental release in the environment, the method remains invalid for the parent acids also.

An estimation has been performed with KOCWIN(MCI Method)based on the representative SMILE notation O=S(=O)(O[Na])C(CCCCCCC(=O)OCCCCCCCCCCCCC)\C=C\CCCCCCCC, to finalise the environmental assessment and calculate the PNEC sediment with the Equilibrium Partitioning method
