Salt reaction of cobalt(2+) and C2/C8/C20 carboxylates does not contain any chemical groups that might lead to spontaneous ignition when in contact with air or water. Furthermore, long-term industrial experience in practical handling of the substance shows no reaction in air or water. Last but not least, conclusion is no flammability according to EC metthod A.10 test (RL 1) carried out on the substance.
