3 terrestrial toxicity tests were performed with the registered substance.

  • Effects on earthworms exposed to the test item was assessed according to an OECD test n°222:

NOEC value for mortality after 4 weeks exposure is 500 mg/kg soil dw.

NOEC value for reproduction after 56 days is 800 mg/kg soil dw (highest dose tested).

  • Effects on 6 species of terrestrial plants exposed to the test item was assessed according to an OECD test n° 208:

Barley is the most sensitive species: NOEC emergence 18d = 281.3 mg/kg soil dw, NOEC early growth 18d = 175.8 mg/kg soil dw

  • Effects on soil microorganisms exposed to the test item was assessed according to an OECD test n° 216:

The effect of the test item on the nitrogen transformation activity of the soil microorganism gave an EC50 > 1000 mg/kg soil dw.

NOEC for nitrogen transformation in soil after 28d = 1000 mg/kg soil dw.
