Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The pour point of the test item was determined to be -6 ± 3 °C (267 ± 3 K).
Executive summary:

Test System

The determination was carried out using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method AI Melting/Freezing Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 102 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.

Principle of the Test

An aliquot of test item is placed in a glass vessel of specified dimensions which is then placed inside a glass jacket.  After preliminary heating of the apparatus, the test item is cooled and examined at intervals for flow characteristics. The lowest temperature at which movement is observed is recorded as the pour point.

Result

The pour point of the test item was determined to be -6 ± 3 °C (267 ± 3 K).
