Key: C = viscosity constant; Size no = size of viscometer

No sample movement was observed after 40 minutes during the test at 20°C, therefore the result is reported as greater than 300 000 mm²/s.

The difference between test runs 1 and 2 at 40°C was outside acceptable tolerance; therefore a third test run was performed. The result has been reported as the mean of test runs 1 and 3.

Conclusions:
At 20°C the viscosity of the test material was > 300000 mm²/s.
At 40°C the viscosity of the test material was 7530.84 mm²/s (mean of 2 runs).

Description of key information

Based on a GLP study according to ISO 3104:1994 and OECD guideline 114 (K1, Dekra, 2018), the viscosity of the test substance was determined to be > 300000 mm²/s at 20°C and 7530.84 mm²/s (mean of 2 runs) at 40°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
7 530.84 mm²/s (static)
