Description of key information
A K2 GLP study was performed according to OECD guideline 105 and EU Method A.6 (flask method). The test substance was completely miscible in water in all proportions tested (Paulus, 2007).
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
Three different ratios of test substance and deonized water were mixed for this test-1mL each component; 5 g test substance, 1 drop water; and 1 drop test substance, 5 g water. Only the pre-test was conducted to determine the water solubility of T002675. Based on visual observations, the substance was determined to be very soluble (>10 g/L) because miscible in all proportions tested.
Another study was performed by J&J PRD. The water solubility of T002675 was determined to be below 60 g/L at 20°C and pH 7.8. As the information was insufficient to determine the reliability of the study a K4 reliability score was assigned to this supporting study.
