Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Take the person into the fresh air; if there is difficulty
in breathing, medical advice is required immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Open the eyelids and rinse for an adequate length of time
with water. Consult an eye specialist immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of
water and soap and, if possible, with polyethylene glycol
400. Carefully clean hair, the places under the nails and
other hidden spots. In case of blueness of lips, skin or
nails (cyanosis) let the person breathe oxygen. No
consumption of alcohol after product contact. Consult a
doctor immediately.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Ensure that the patient drinks water. The mouth should be
rinsed out several times. If the patient feel unwell, seek
medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder; in case of larger fire,
water spray should be used. Never use direct water jet.
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen
chloride, sulfur dioxide and other toxic gases.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire-men have to wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Dam up with the absorbing material, e.g. sand. Fill into
labelled, sealable containers.
Use the necessary personal protective equipment when
handling.
Handling and storage
Handling: The precautions usual by handling with chemicals are to
note. In all steps of working where is the possibility of
contact with eye and/or skin the suitable protective
clothing, gloves of Baypren/Viton or of PVC and goggles are
to wear. Avoid contact with eye and skin as well as
inhalation of dust and vapour. In case of handling the
substance not in a closed form and if there is the
possibility of contact a gas mask is to use (gas filter,
e.g. DIN 3181 A). Take care of safety filling and dosing
equipment. Take care of effective exhausting by suction in
case of handling the substance especially in case of
appearence of dust and vapour. Precautions should generally
be taken against electrostatic charges and ignition sources.
Take care that the substance will not escape into waters,
wastewater or soil even not in form of fire fighting water.
Keep away from foodstuffs. Wash hands before breaks and at
end of work. Keep working clothes separate.
Storage: Store in original container in a cool place. Ensure
effective ventilation. Vent waste air only via suitable
separators or scrubbers.
Take care that the substance will not escape into waters,
wastewater or soil and even not in form of fire fighting
water.
Precautions should generally be taken against electrostatic
charges and ignition sources.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Beading drums of about 200 Kg

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: No hazardous reaction when used as directed.
Incompatible substances: alkalis and acid.
Chemical reaction with water: None
Dust explosion: In case of dusty, organic product generally calculate with
the ability of dust explosion.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
