Conclusions:
The freezing point of Et-NENA has not been reached up to -20ºC.

Executive summary:

A study to determine the freezing point of Et-NENA was conducted in accordance to OECD (102)/EU. A.1 guidelines by the method of crystallization tube in freezing mixture solid CO2/acetone, in GLP conditions. The liquid sample of Et-NENA was poured into a test tube. This tube was placed in an outer tube and set in a Dewar vessel containing freezing mixture. The test item was stirred and the temperature was recorded during cooling. Two measurements were carried out at atmospheric pressure. The freezing point of Et-NENA has not been reached up to the limit of -20°C, which defines a threshold of the freezing point study performance necessity.
