Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Eye contact : Rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes. If feeling unwell, immediately seek medical attention.
- Skin contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before re-using.
- Inhalation : Remove victim to fresh air. If feeling unwell, immediately seek medical attention.
- Ingestion : Immediately rinse mouth with water.Do not induce vomiting. If feeling unwell, immediately seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Flammable class : Not flammable.
- Suitable extinguishing media : Water spray, CO2, Foam, Powder.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media : None.
Specific hazards : On exposure to high temperature, may decompose, releasing toxic gases. Protection against fire : Tight protective clothing required. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and thick rubber gloves.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : Dust and/or fine particles, minimize inhalation exposure.Suitable respiratory equipment.Wear impervious safety shoes or rubber boots. Use rubber gloves.
Wearing of safety glasses absolutely necessary.
Environmental precautions : Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. After spillage and/or leakage : On land, sweep or shovel into suitable containers. Avoid dust production. Flush with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
Storage : Keep packaging closed when not in use. Store in dry, cool, well-ventilated area.
Handling : Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin, clothing and eyes. Wash hands plentifully and other exposed areas with water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before re-using. Packagings, even those that have been emptied, will retain product residue. Always obey safety warnings and handle empty packagings as if they were full.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Hand protection : Use rubber gloves.
- Skin protection : Total impervious protective suits and boots must be worn.
- Eye protection : Chemical goggles or face shield with safety glasses.
- Respiratory protection : Approved dust respirator should be used if airborne particles are generated when handling this material.
- Others : Emergency eye wash fountains and safety showers should be available in the immediate vicinity of any potential exposure.
Exposure controls : Provide adequate ventilation to minimize dust concentrations.
TLV : No TLV known.
Stability and reactivity
Stability and reactivity : Stable.
Materials to avoid : No data available.
Conditions to avoid : Fire. Moisture.
Hazardous properties : None.
Disposal considerations
Disposal : Comply with local regulations for disposal.
Packaging : Empty packaging can have residues or dusts and are subject to proper waste disposal, as above.
