Administrative data
First-aid measures
Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention. In the event of breathing difficulties, administer artificial respiration or oxygen.
INGESTION
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Promptly get affected personnel to drink large volumes of water to dilute the swallowed chemical. Immediately consult a doctor.
SKIN CONTACT
Rinse the skin immediately with lots of water. Remove immediately contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention.
EYE CONTACT
Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse.
GENERAL
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. When unconscious, loosen tight clothing and position in secured sideposition. Make sure that the respiratory passages are free. Administer breathing assistance, if necessary.
Fire-fighting measures
Can be extinguished with water mist, powder, foam, sand or carbon dioxide.
EXTINGUISHING METHODS
Avoid water in straight hose stream; will scatter and spread fire. General: Evacuate all personnel, use protective equipment for fire fighting. Use a portable breathing apparatus when the product is involved in a fire.
SPECIAL HAZARDS
The product is combustible. May form poisonous gas by combustion.
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Use a fresh air breathing apparatus and protective suit. Use personal protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Wear necessary protective equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Avoid unnecessary release to the environment.
METHODS AND MATERIAL
Wipe away or soak up with an absorbent material. Collect in containers and seal securely. Remove containers and flush area with water.
Handling and storage
Wear air supplied respiratory protection. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid inhalation. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Wear air supplied respiratory protection.
CONDITION FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY UNCOMPATIBILITIES
Keep in cool, dry, ventilated storage and closed containers.
SPECIFIC END USE(S)
Avoid heat, sparks and open flame. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Effective ventilation is presupposed or suitable respirator. Do not use in confined spaces without adequate ventilation and/or respirator.
APPROPRIATE ENGINEERING CONTROLS
Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Contaminated clothing to be placed in closed container until disposal or decontamination. Warn cleaning personnel of chemical´´s hazardous properties.
EYE PROTECTION
Use approved safety goggles or face shield.
SKIN PROTECTION
Use protective clothing that is resistant to chemicals.
HAND PROTECTION
Use protective gloves that are resistant to chemicals.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be applied. At work in confined or poorly ventilated spaces, respiratory protection with air supply must be used.
Stability and reactivity
Strong acids.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS
Dangerous products of decomposition: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
Disposal considerations
Destroy in accordance with applicable legislation and recommendations of the authorities. Refuse, spillages and empty containers are treated as dangerous waste.
CATEGORY OF WASTE
For waste disposal within the EU, use the EWC code most suitable for each individual occasion.
