Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:
Migrated from Short description of key information:
The contact hypersensitivity to the substance was assessed by the mouse Local Lymph Node Assay. The test substance can be considered a non skin sensitiser.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:
Migrated from Short description of key information:
The substance is not regarded as a respiratory sensitiser.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The REACH technical guidance document states that although the LLNA does not represent a method for the specific identification of chemical respiratory allergens, the interpretation is that a substance that fails to induce a positive response in the LLNA, most probably lacks the potential for respiratory allergy. On that basis, the test substance is not regarded as a respiratory sensitiser.
