Under regular pressure : The boiling point was measured using general distillation apparatus. PC-9S was not distilled below 280 ℃.
Under vacuum : The boiling point was measured using general distillation apparatus under vacuum. PC-9S was determined to be 96 ℃ (369 K) by distillation at 0.133 kPa.

The boiling temperature was conducted using the distillation method, using OECD guideline 103. The test material did not boil under normal pressure at 280 deg C. However under vacuum the boiling temperature was observed to be 96 deg C.
