Description of key information

A density of 1.2340 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.4°C was determined for Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc, following EU method A.3 resp. OECD 109 (1995) and application of the hydrostatical balance method. The tap density (according to CIPAC MT 169) of Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc was determined as 0.83 g/mL ( = g/cm3).

Additional information

Density

The density of the test item Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc was determined as 1.2340 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.4°C, which is the mean of three values, standard deviation 0.0010 g/cm3. No observations were made which might cause doubts concerning the validity of the study outcome.

Tap Density

Following CIPAC MT 169, the apparent density (D in g/cm3) after compaction of the sample was calculated from the equation D = W/V (in g/cm3), with mass of the test item in the cylinder W = 79.9 g and measured volume V = 96 mL.

The tap density of Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc was determined as 0.83 g/mL ( = g/cm3).
