First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures
In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. Always seek for medical help.
Inhalation: Breake the exposure, transfer the victim to the fresh air, apply artificial respiration, if the victim is not breathing.
Skin contact: Take off immediately contaminated clothing and flush affected area with plenty of water (preferably lukewarm).
Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Never neutralize! Move to the physician while continue rinsing.
Ingestion: Rinse out mouth with clean water, make him drink 0,1-0,2 l of water, induce vomiting. Administer activated charcoal (20 - 40 g in 1 0%slurry). Induce vomiting only, if victim is still conscious. Immediately call in physician.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: Cough. Headache. Nausea. Vomiting. Shortness of breath.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: No specific antidote is known. A safety shower is required nearby in case of accidental spillage.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Dry chemicals, CO2, foam, water-spray.
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Not known.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of burning toxic and irritating fumes may be formed (nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides, hydrogen cyanide and other).
Advice for firefighters: In the event of fire, vear self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 137) and clothing protective against chemicals.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
For non-emergency personnel:
Do not breathe dust. Use personal protective equipment! Evacuate area in case of large leakage. Prevent access to unauthorised persons. Storing spaces must be sufficiently ventilated.
Environmental precautions: Avoid entering of product into a water stream and sewers.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: To be collected mechanically, including eventually contaminated soil and kept in containers dedicated for dangerous waste.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:
Use personal protective equipment.
Avoid dusting.
Avoid dust inhalation.
Provide fresh water for first aid.
Ensure effective ventilation.
Do not eat, drink or smoke during the work and observe the personal hygiene principles.
Wash with water and soap after working with substances.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in original tightly closed containers in dry, cold and well-ventilated areas.
Thoroughly protect from atmospheric moisture and light.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure limit value:
No occupational exposure limits established.

Exposure reduction (technical measures):
Use process enclosures, local exhaust, general ventilation.
Avoid generation of dust.
A safety shower is required nearby in case of accidental spillage.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.

Respiratory protection: if dust may be generated, wear dust filter mask,
Hand protection: chemicaly resistant gloves
Eye/face protection: tight protective goggles or faceshield,
Skin protection: protective clothing, apron, boots, cap.

Environmental exposure reduction:
Uncontrolled escape of substance/formulation into environment is to be avoided.
If necessary, install efficient equipment for disposal of emission.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity:
Product reacts with water and alcohols by formation of urea.

Chemical stability:
Stable at rooms temperature in closed containers under normal conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions:
No known hazardous reactions.

Conditions to avoid:
Sources of heating and ignition.
Contact with air, light, moisture.

Incompatible materials:
Decompouses by contact with water, urea-derivates formation.

Hazardous decomposition products:
Thermal decomposition - nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other toxic gases.

Disposal considerations

Disposal methods of the substance/preparation:
Must be disposed of in compliance with the respective national regulations.

Disposal methods of the contaminated packaging:
To be disposed of as a dangerous waste, observing local regulations.
