The toxicity of 1,7 -octadiene to aquatic microorganisms was investigated (2011-0100-DGO) in a 3 h study. This dose-response test with domestic activated sludge was carried out according to OECD guideline 209 under GLP conditions. The tested concentrations were 10, 32, 100, 320 and 1000 mg/L. In addition a blank control (tap water and synthetic sewage and inoculum) and positive control (reference item: 3,5-dichlorophenol) were tested. The EC50 (3 h) was assumed to be > 1000 mg/L (nominal).
