Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
General advice: Victim to lie down in the recovery position, cover and keep him warm. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Artificial respiration and/or oxygen may be necessary. Call a physician immediately.
Skin contact: Wash off with soap and water. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Eye contact: Remove contact lenses. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. Consult a physician.
Ingestion: Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Induce vomiting, but only if victim is fully conscious. Call a physician immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Specific hazards during fire fighting: Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not let product enter drains. Avoid subsoil penetration.
Methods for cleaning up: Dam up. Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Pick up and transfer to properly labelled containers.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Avoid formation of respirable particles. When opening containers, avoid breathing vapours that may be emanating.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Do not spray on a naked flame or any other incandescent material.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection: In case of mist, spray or aerosol exposure wear suitable personal respiratory protection and protective suit.
Hand protection: Impervious gloves, Skin should be washed after contact.
Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles
Skin and body protection: Lightweight protective clothing
Hygiene measures: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid: To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon dioxide (CO2), Carbon monoxide
Hazardous reactions: Stable under normal conditions.
Disposal considerations
Product: Dispose of as special waste in compliance with local and national regulations.
Contaminated packaging: Offer rinsed packaging material to local recycling facilities.
