Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is not readily biodegradable (by OECD criteria). It is poorly biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was tested in a guideline study conducted in compliance with OECD 301 B (Ready Biodegradability: CO2 Evolution Test). The biodegradation rate was determined by measuring the CO2 evolution of domestic activated sludge at a test substance concentration of 31 mg/L (DOC = 20 mg/L). After the 28 day incubation period a degradation rate of < 10 % was observed [BASF SE, 2012].
